Surprise tip of a lifetime!

My best massage experience was when a little middle aged lady came in and told me about the aches and pains she had been having in her arms for years. Apparently she worked in a factory
assembling parts for the last 15 years and I guess the repetitive motion had caused tendonitis. She said that she had never tried massage before because it was too expensive, but that now she just had to try something to get some relief.
I was very sympathetic to her cause and I knew by her clothes that she was very frugal with her expenses; and therefore may not be back to me. I felt so sorry for her that I took extra time and gave her an extra half hour to really work on her arms and hands. At the end of the massage, with tears in her eyes, she told me "thank you so much". She asked me if she could leave me a check to cover the payment and reluctantly I accepted.
When I opened the check, I nearly passed out! She had written $1500.00 on the check! I told her that I couldn't accept this amount, and she said "Dear, don't worry about it, I won the lottery yesterday and my money problems are over." She is still my customer to this day, and always gives good tips.
