Diploma in 12 MonthsDepending on the schedule of a student, 12-month and 15-month diploma programs are available, where a required 710 hours of classroom and clinical experience is required. It is also important to note that classes are available for both daytime and evening instruction. Cortiva is also host to an assortment of continuing education programs that includes class instruction in hot stone massage, as well as therapeutic massage in athletics. Additional continuing education programs include the 200-hour Maternity & Infant Massage Program, and the 7-hour Massage and Cancer course that costs a mere $140 per person. When considering pursuing an education at the Cortiva Institute, you will find that the admission process includes a few requirements before accepting an application. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, speak fluent English, take any required introductory workshops or classes, and have completed an admissions interview. Financial aid, such as student payment plans; various grants and loans; and the Sallie Mae Career Training Loan is also offered to students who qualify. Depending on the level of need and qualifications, a student may apply and receive a Federal Pell Grant, Federal SEOG (Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant), Federal Subsidized Student Loans, Federal Unsubsidized Student Loan, and Federal PLUS (Parental Loan for Undergraduate Students).
