Spa Massage Salaries

Generally a spa will pay you 20-50 percent commission on the service you provide. You should also receive tips in the range of $10-$20 per hour. Also, you may get an hourly rate, you may not. In my 10 years of massage work I would say that $40 per hour is normal pay when you work for someone else and $60-75 per hour for self employed work. Good luck!

Spa Commission & Tips
by: Anonymous

This statement is dead on. My commission in a spa was 40% with no hourly pay or benefits. The tips were great when I got them. I worked in a casino's spa so the clientele basis was pretty nice, especially my return clients.
