Practicing Massage in Florida

I have been practicing massage therapy in Toronto for 12 years. I graduated from a 2200 hour program and I am interested in moving to live and work in Florida. I am wondering what do i need to do in terms of licensing. Please I am wondering if you can tell me where do I begin?

There are two methods of obtaining a license in Florida. One method is to apply by endorsement, which may be your best bet. The other way is to send your transcripts to a Fl approved schoool and see what they will transfer.You can visit www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa and see the entire section of Florida laws and rules (section 480 F.S.) and (64B& F.A.C.).
