No Average Massage Salary

There is no such thing as an average salary really. It all depends on the place you work. On straight commission (usually no more than 20-40%) if you do not massage, you do not get paid. On an hourly, no more than $15 per massage hour. It will cost about $3000 to go to school.

If you go freelance, you get to keep all you make, but you must go out and get clients, and pay rent on a room, or take the risk of going to client's location. Plus you have to advertise and have a way for people to contact you.
