Moving to CA, then to Texas from Maryland

by Ingar
(Baltimore, MD)

Hi, my name is Ingar and currently I have been certified and licensed in Baltimore Maryland since 1999. I have completed a 500 hr course and was grandfathered into the the the program from which you also have to obtain 60 credits. I am recently engaged and my future Husband is in the navy were her travels to different states. We will be getting married in a few weeks then I will be traveling to Lemoore CA for one year then moving to Houston TX for the remainder of his career. I want to continue to practice in both states during my journey, however I'm currently looking for information on what is required of me to do before I make this move.

In MD it requires 500 hrs and 60 credits where CA doesn't require anything (thinking how is that going to effect my current status) then when I move to TX they require 250hrs and 50 hrs of internship. Does anyone have any experience in transferring from these states. Thanks for any feed back or recommendations. Ingar
