Moving from Kentucky to Texas, but not licensed in ky yet...

I am going to take the national exam for massage in Kentucky in about a month, and then I will be moving to Texas. Can I take the exam in Kentucky and just apply for licensure in Texas? Or..should I get licensed in Kentucky and then get licensed in Texas? Which is easier?
