Massaging technique

by Hari
(India)

I'm basically an athlete. I undergo strenuous physical exercise and sometimes it might even lead to muscle pulls. So massaging has become highly necessary for me. My trainer massages my body and my legs especially, since I concentrate more on running exercises. Most of the times, my calf muscle starts paining heavily and that is when I desperately need my trainer to massage my legs.

The best massaging technique is to dip a dry cloth in 250ml of water at 45 Degree centigrade. Then the cloth should be pressed gently on the calf muscle or any other parts of the body that need massaging. When the temperature of the water absorbed by the cloth is found to reduce, dip the cloth in warm water once again and repeat the process. Keep doing this for 20 minutes.

After that, wipe the massaged area with a clean cloth and make that particular area completely dry. After that, don't disturb that part of the body which was just massaged. Take 50ml of coconut oil in a small container made of a highly good conducting material. Keep the container in a water bath, filled with water at 75 degree centigrade approximately. After the oil gains sufficient and bearable heat, apply the warm oil on the muscle that is to be massaged.

Now, ask your trainer or coach to massage your muscle with his fingers for about 20minutes. After that, wipe off the oil with a dry cloth. Make no movements for the next few minutes. This massaging technique would remove all kinds of strains or muscle pulls in just a very short time.
