on a slideing scale of 40-60% commission, plus a "product charge" paid to spa for $3/ 1hr. session. Tips are in addition to the 40-60%. % scale is based on the amount of service dollars brought into the spa each week. Usually therapists at my place of employment never make more than 45%. a 1/2hr massage=$45, 1hr=$75, 1 1/2hr.=$105.

Also, we can earn a retail check once a month, also based on the amount of retail sold. anywhere from 5-15% of total retail sales, plus the "opportunity" to "earn back" part of our "product charges". anywhere from 50-75% back.
