Losing your Massage License

I am curious as to what would cause a license to be revoked?

I have a friend who wants to pursue massage therapy as a new career but is currently facing felony charges on a completely unrelated business. don't know what the disposition will be if she applies and receives her license can she lose her license if this receives a felony due to a completely different area of business?
