First, do you have the experience to be comfortable running your own business? This includes both the basic legal aspect to setting it up, registering, etc., but also you personal experience in massage. You need to make sure you understand the business and how to maintain and build clientèle.

And second, make sure you have a passion for massage and that's it's not just a job. If it's not your passion, you'll have trouble staying motivated while on your own.
