For the most part, massage therapists aren't salaried. They get a percentage of the fee the client is paying.

On the low end it is usually 50/50. If you can get 70/30 you are doing pretty good. The problem isn't the money.....the challenge is getting the clients. Once you can overcome that...you are home free.
