Child care benefits?

by Yalonda
(Minnesota)

I am interested in working on a cruise ship but I have children. Is there any Child Care Benefits if you are working as a massage therapist on a cruise ship?

I'm guessing not.
You won't be home every evening so that means you would have to hire someone to care for your children for 4- 8 months before you get to see them again. There are contract you sign before you are assigned a ship.
If you really want to work on a cruise ship and have reliable family to care for your children that would be the way to do it.

Otherwise my suggestion would be find a spa or resort to practice massage therapy close to where you live. Good Luck.
