checking which advertising works

I have been in business for nearly 5 years and when I started and whenever I move into a new area I use up to 5 different phone numbers - one for each advertising media/site. This is time consuming but this way I can check which of my advertising is generating the most calls and which generates the most income for that area, after 3 months I divert all calls into my central number and reduce advertising within the media that is not generating income. This really works and has reduced my advertising costs and the time I spend on re-advertising. I use the same system with email addresses using different (but similar) addresses for each website.
