(Huntsville, Alabama)

I broke my wrist 4 years ago and I was wondering if that would affect me when giving a massage.

I broke my wrist while in school.
by: Anonymous

I broke my left wrist while in school. I didn't know it was broken, but it hurt after a car accident and I just kept trying to do the work in school. Finally I went to a doctor and after several different imaging sessions he found the scafoid break. He said that if he hadn't found it that I probably would have needed surgery. I took a break from school and went back after the wrist healed. That was about ten years ago and haven't had a problem with it. I think bones are stronger after healing. I recommend myofacial release techniques for the restrictions and scars in the tissues surrounding the injury as well as any other places that you might feel restrictions.
