Been having a hard getting a full time massage job

I did what this said to do. I haven't gotten a full time massage job yet, I did do a sample and answered my interview questions well. I still didn't get the job, because thedy were picky . I don't like picky people.

Take a hard look at yourself
by: Lauren - Admin

If you continually struggle to get a massage job you need to take a hard look at the way you are presenting yourself rather than blame it on others.

For example, your posting included several grammar and spelling problems (some I fixed and others I left). Have you made similar mistakes on your resume and cover letters?

Details count. You should expect employers to be picky. They don't want to entrust their business to just anybody. They want somebody that inspires confidence.

Are you inspiring confidence?

How about starting your own business, or work in a chiropractic office?

Don't Trip!!!
by: Tammy Z

You are not the only one!! I graduated Valedictorian of my program, and with perfect attendance 5 months ago. I still haven't found a job. It's very competitive out there right now. The economy is the worst it has been in decades! Many people are unemployed, not just you. So, don't get discouraged...you are not the only one...and THAT is the main reason you haven't found a job yet!

attitude
by: Anne

The best way to get a massage job is to have the right attitude. You cannot dislike picky people because almost everyone you will come in contact with as a massage therapist is picky. You need to be clean, very well groomed, no body jewelry, no perfumes, speak calmly, intelligently, clearly, and always smile. Be self confident but not ego driven.
